School Council

The School Council is made up of two children from each Year 1 and Year 2 classes.  The class representatives take ideas from the classes to the School Council meeting which is held every Thursday lunchtime.  They discuss the ideas with Mrs. Richmond and help to make decisions.

Buddy System

Year 2 children take it in turns to be 'Buddies' on the playground.  They are easy to spot as they wear an orange cap.  The Buddies are responsible for making sure that no child is sitting alone on the Friendship Bench.  If someone is a Buddy, they will help them to find a friend to play with or tell an adult.  The Buddies make sure the playground sacks are taken outside ready for the children to play with the toys at playtime or lunchtime.
